Hey guys, Krishna21 here.

My dad turned over his old PC to me so I could just toy around with it.

So..I wanted to hackintosh it.

Specs were:

1GB RAM, 250GB HDD, AMD x2 4200+ Dual Core CPU, Onboard Graphics.

Now, the HCL already had an entry for 10.5.2 and E380, but the only problem was the poster used Zephyroth's 10.5.2 AMD DVD..

I decided to go get it, but it's so old and NOBODY uses it, so the seeding was low.

I decided to use Kalyway 10.5.2.

Anyway, so after downloading, I slowly burned to a DVD+R at 2x Speed with IMGBurn.

I booted off the DVD with -v and got into the installer.

I selected:

Kernel 9.2 Sleep

ApplenForceATA

AMD Patch CPUID Patch 1

NVInject (NVInject, not NVInject XXMB)

AppleYukon

And then installed. Initial boot was very slow, on the line:

"AM kernel CODE SIGNING: cs_invalid_page: p=4816[lssave] clearing CS_VALID " hung for about two minutes and then ended up booting.

(So don't be alarmed if your at that line for a while)

Intro movie was laggy and computer became more noiser as OS X was using Onboard GFX and VESA..

PS/2 is not functional.

For LAN (Marvell 88E8056):

In Terminal:

sudo nano /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleYukon2.kext/Contents/Info.plist

Change <key>Yukon-88E8053</key> to <key>Yukon-88E8056</key>

Then for

<key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key>

<string>0x436211AB</string>

Change to

<key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key>

<string>0x436411AB</string>

Then save and overwrite.

In terminal:

sudo rm -r /System/Library/Extensions.mkext

Then repair permissions with

diskutil repairPermissions /

Reboot with -x -v.

For onboard Audio (ALC888):

Use ALCInject Digital w/3 Ports and reboot.

Obviously onboard GFX won't work, I might install another card, preferrably a low end like a 7200GS..

Sleep hasn't been tested..it might work considering we used 9.2 Sleep Kernel, but still..

Shutdown and reboot work fine.

Other than that..everything works great..

EDIT:

Reinstall fixed boot time (Earlier was 10 minutes now only 1 minute), HCL entry even said reinstall fixed it as well!
