turtleraj
Would there be any reason this wouldn't work as a functional hackintosh? I checked the wiki and from the quick research I did, the motherboard, processor, and integrated graphics card all seem to be work, but I figured I would ask here first. Thanks! Alessandro17
That mobo is virtually unknown and that is bad. You should always build a PC with parts well know to work with OS X (and possibly you'll spend less and have better quality). However I found this: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=205403

The hackintosh was just an extra that I thought would be a fun project. I looked at http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...10.6.1/Desktops, which lists the same mobo as mine, which is why I thought it might be possible. Is there a chance that it would work using this board? Elfis, would you mind if I PM'ed when I start to get your help?

turtleraj
Sorry I should have phrased that better. Will the experience be severely hampered without QE/CI?
elfis
Sorry I should have phrased that better. Will the experience be severely hampered without QE/CI? For basic use maybe you don't need qe/ci i think the best will be to install first macosx , test for day or two then decide what to do next . If I install with the non QE/CI chip and decide later that I would like a low end card with QE/CI support, would I have to reinstall? turtleraj
I just realized that the product specifications says Socket AM3, which is an AMD socket, but the processor is Intel. How is this possible?
