If I use "JaS.10.4.7.Update.(Intel)" to update to 10.4.7 from Jas 10.4.6 DVD, Do I need update with "Semjaza 10.4.7 decrypt " any more? Or "Semjaza 10.4.7 decrypt" is including in "JaS.10.4.7.Update.(Intel)" already and no need install again?
Thanks |

Okie, thanks Rammijet!
My problem that after install MAC OSX from Jas DVD 10.4.6, I apply the "JaS.10.4.7.Update.(Intel)" ==> everything perfect! Then I apply the "Semjaza 10.4.7 decrypt" and... oh my god... I cant boot in MAC OSX any more! The welcome screen hangs on boot!!!! (Still can move the mouse but waiting boot forever!) What happen? Maybe I do something wrong? I followed the "read me" file from Semjaza: QUOTE 2. Run pacifist and open the MacOSXUpd10.4.7Intel.pkg file. Select everything and install it. 3. Run replace.sh so it replaces crucial encrypted system files. This command only works if you are in the working directory of the patch! sudo ./replace.sh Someone can explain extractly what I have to do (step by step) (speciality is the guide above) to apply the "Semjaza 10.4.7 decrypt" patch success? Thank you very very very much (Sorry for my bad English) |

Okie, really thank you for taking time to help me!
Only one more question: If I don't "Run pacifist and open the MacOSXUpd10.4.7Intel.pkg (Which file download from Apple official website). Select everything and install it" before apply the "semjaza10_4_7", so how can I install the new kext (10.4.7) which not include in the "JaS.10.4.7.Update.(Intel)" ? Thanks so much! |

You don't really need them. But if you want to play around and try to debug any problems the new kexts might create, then go ahead and use Pacifist and the Apple 10.4.7 Intel update. And best of luck. |

OK - I am getting kind of confused now that people are talking about Semzaja.
I D'Led the latest 10.4.7 JaS install ISO. I am doing a fresh install. In the customization options I ticked off the Semzaja option and SSE3 and wireless. Do i need some other Semzaja file as well or is Semzaja that you guys are talking about already incorporated into the JaS 10.4.7 install DVD? If I install the JaS DVD then do I need to get anything from Apple? My assumption is no. Am I missing something? Thanks |

So, how I know the semjaza10_4_7 apply success and working or not? If you ran the replace.sh correctly, you should have gotten several messages of files being "replaced" and at the end the following messages: "All required replacements are done." "The original files were copied and have the extension .backup." If you did not see all of those messages, then you did something wrong. |

Zedzed's question is interesting (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&showtopic=22465&view=findpost&p=185620)
Is the Semjaza decrypted 10.4.7 update included in JaS 10.4.7 ISO DVD ??? or do we need to apply the Semjaza patch after a clean install ? thanks for the good work, bro ! |
