LordOfSquad
Early on in the installation process, mere seconds after starting, the whole shebang stops. The DVD drive quits spinning, the computer starts "waiting for root host" or something like that. This is the last message I receive in Verbose mode before things stop working: AppleUSBOHCI[0x2bb7000]::CheckSleepCapability - OHCI controller will be unloaded across sleep If anyone has any idea what's going on, please let me know! I've googled around, but have found nothing. Thanks. I just tried again, this was the last thing I got this time: VGA: family specific matching fails Now, I was able to find out this is a graphics error of some sort. How does one fix it? And before I forget, I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1501. EDIT: I guess I'm using the wrong ISO. Ah well.
LordOfSquad
So I've attempted using 2 different disc images. -iATKOS_5i -iPC_OSx86_Leopard_10_5_6_Intel_AMD_SSE2_SSE3 And I've attempted installing both normally, as well as using this method. And neither are working. I'm assuming my best bet is to use iATKOS_5i and use the VMware method as outlined in the link, but I'm totally at a loss. These are my VMware settings. This is what happens when I attempt to install it through verbose mode. And through a normal VMware install. Any response at all would be appreciated.
