Screensaver comes on even when set at never [SOLVED]

So far with my Snow Leopard install on a Gigabtye EP45-UD3P has been very solid except for one annoying problem and that's screensaver starting up even when set to never in system preferences.

Any thoughts as to how I can stop this? I tried deleting the screensaver plist and rebooting but no luck, still set to never and it still keeps popping up.

Love to find a way to kill the screensaver.

Open System-Preferences and set up the screensaver-panel like you want.

Open your Home-Folder and go to Lbrary/Preferences/byHost and search for the latest "com.apple.screensaver.A-LOT-OF-NUMBERS.plist".

Rename the plist by deleting the numbers.

It should look like this:

com.apple.screensaver.plist

Copy the "com.apple.screensaver.plist" up to Home/Library/Preferences

Good Luck
