Hi,

It kernel panics on mine right after loading /E/E

Tried on both 32 and 64 bit - same thing.

I'm on 10.6.1 using vanilla kernel.

Old Sleepenabler works fine.

Repaired permission on /E/E

Specs:

G31m-ES2L rev 1.x

7300LE (soon to be 4650)

4gb ddr2

e5200

etc

What could I have done wrong?

Thank you.

You should try to rebuild cache and fix permissions again to get the new kext working, SL is fickity with new kexts.

Netkas said it will not work on 10.6.1 ONLY 10.6.2

I'd assume this SE update is backward compatible with the older kernel versions of SL?

MAJ

Edit: Just saw post above after posting. Guess I'd better keep both just in case.

So, ouch. These updates are going to get a little tricky for those who don't RTFM! Expect more noobiies and KPs! :P

I have 10.6.2 with 10.0.0 (new kernel would not boot, had to use the one from 10.6.0 install)

Old SleepEnabler.kext gives restart screens

New (netkas version) give KP on boot

Will this one work with 10.0.0?

Computer works without SleepEnabler, but doesn't fully go to sleep and needs to be restarted if I try to put it to sleep.

I'm on p5w DH Deluxe. 10.5.8 slept perfect.

Any suggestions?
