Firestrider
I'm having problems getting my wireless card and wired ethernet enabled in iDeneb 10.5.6. The wireless card is a dell 1397 half minicard 4312BG and the wired ethernet is marvell 88E80XX (I'm not 100% sure on this) Is there any options I should select or configuration to get this working? LatinMcG
this is for 10.5 NOT SNOW in your ORIGINAL IO80211Family.kext (right click show package contents) .. inside the Plugins has another kext.. broadcoms (2 of them) add a line <string>pci14e4,4315</string> in the info.plist of BOTH broadcom kexts. ..after that repair permissions and rebuild cache. (kext wizard) youre good to go untill next update that replaces the info.plist or u can get a broadcomfix legacy to merge it into it so no need to re edit after all updates. my friend called last night.. windows wasnt able to see any networks with this card .. xp.. but removed in dev manager and rebooted .. helped.
