I have audio working on my configuration (check sig), but it doesnt work properly - sound has a lot of noise and it is twiching, I cant even watch video normally due to sound issue.

My OSX was installed from previous configuration - I installed it from TM backup. Previously I had dfi infinity nf4 MBO with Realtek ALC850, perhaps this kext is messing with sound. This new board uses ALC 889a audio chip.

I tried installing HDA enabler with HDA kext and azalia.pkg to patch the sound issue but it didnt help.

Problem is - I dont know what kext is loaded for my audio. I would like to delete the kext that causes issues but I dont know wich one is it.

Sorry for double posting, but I have some new info.

I deleted alcinject, azalia and applehda kexts and tried again from scratch:

1. Azalia kext - no sound at all
2. HDAenabler + HDA 889a kext - bad sound (twiching, noise, sound brakes every few seconds)
3. Taruga's HDA patcher + my alc889a codec dump + applehda kext - bad sound (twiching, noise, sound brakes every few seconds)
4. VoodooHDA - bad sound (twiching, noise, sound brakes every few seconds)

I find it strange that none of the options works for me sad.gif
I'm missing something or what?
I thought that patching applehda kext would make my sound ok, but it still gives bad sound sad.gif
