AD1981HD on HP6720s

Hi @ all,

i have a HP 6720s with Celeron 1.73 ghz. I have a smal problem with my soundcard AD1981HD, i only got sound from the internal speakers. But i want to have sound from my headphones too. Thats the problem all other Hardware of the Hp 6720s runns very well. My Distributions is XXX 10.5.6 Leopard Disc Rev. 1. Can you help me please i don´t know what i should do with an dump from linux and the tarugas hda patcher. Please help me i am working at a how to on 6720s and this is the only problem i can`t discribe there.

You need to get the VoodooHDA from the sticky above. Make sure that you rename AppleHDA.kext and AppleAzaliaAudio.kext if they are on your system. Then install the voodoohda.kext from the site.

I've been using VoodooHDA for 5 weeks (+-), and have had nothing but wonderful sound usage from it. I just haven't had the time to test the microphone settings yet.
