I also have xp sp3 install on my laptop (msi ex600).

 

I don't have any sound. I choose Realtek alc 888 and internal speakers.

 

What can I do ?

 

You also write about wireless drivers. When do you plan to release it ? Or where can I download them.

i've been trying to install macos on this laptop but I still can not get past the error "still waiting for root device"

 

 

 

I know it's the most common error, and I know some ways to fix it, I installed on MacOs my Desktop Pc before, and I was able to fix this error then, but on this laptop I can not fix it, there are not much options in BIOS aswell, 

 

(I partitioned the HD as FAT32, HFS+, makes no difference)

 

any suggestions?

maybe you have different soundcard, try all others audio drivers from Realtek alc 888

from install CD open using application pacifist under ideneb application folder.

try first to see if the ID of harddisk is on the list of release,if it is this shoud work:

 

 

the harddisk is detected with iDeneb 10.5.5 booting press F8

at prompt just type -s then use what it says the 2 lines :

/sbin/fsck -fy

/sbin/mount -uw /

 

then type

exit

and graphical starts use disk utilities and i see my hard drive with all partition.

they will take your id of hardisk controler and give you a patch or make

it work in the next release.

get the id with everest/aida.

I have to share what i founded out. I have installed iDeneb 1.3 on my laptop MSI ex600, everything works great i think. After many distributions which actually didnt work, this one works! I was a litle bit disappointed, when i revealed, my wifi isnt working. So i began to search on the internet and i founded this:

now my wifi works, but only with free unsecured networks. Still its more than nothing and thats enough for me!

 

BTW: installation performed without any errors, and at the reboot there was no kernel panic.

i understand that install did gone well, and after restart syten freeze?

if so try boot press F8 at comand prompt write

-v -f -F -x

 

and make a photo or tell last line where it does freeze, maybe the one writing

Still waiting for root device maybe.

NVinject 256Mb

 

After install i didn't press any key and i got a grey screen with the apple logo. the system stoped here and nothing happend

It's important what errors do you have in debug ing mode

i did write you last time try:

I've managed to install MAC, and i must say it's a whole new world , but i have some problem's.

You said that network work's by default. When a create a PPoe connection, no matter what i type in the pass field, the computer says it connect's toi the internet, but safari can't open any page. Even if i type the corect user name and pass it still doesen't connect. Another question is how can i get dual boot, how can i install cameleon??

 

And another question is how can i use both core's?
