i already read the threads related with applehda - i just can't make it work with the 10.5.5 version
maybe the codec in 10.5.5 don't work or (most likely) i'm making the info.plist entries wrong

to make this work you need to
1) hack applehda with hexedit and replace the codec id
2) get pinconfig from xp/vista
4) get linux dump and find the connections (doesn't work for me)
3) edit the info.plist files

here's what i like to do:
1) find a way to get the codec for the card (windows, linux) and inject the codec in applehda - this will work for all cards
2) make a script for reading pinconfig / linux dump and extract the connections
3) add pinconfig and connections to info.plist files

do you think this can be done?

hey guys . hi pedovki.

i tested the voodoohda posted in their source without touching it . it gives me a lot of analog devices and the internal microphone works but when recording it records an annoying noise nothing is clear. mute is working . it just shows it's muted.

headphone works but i must select the pcm device each time i wanna use the headphone . and the internal speakers also the same i have to select one of the other devices . i think if we can touch this it may help better. i don't have xcode yet but i'll try to see what i can do, also no one explains on how to modify it. shut down works with this. i hope u can work on it to make it work. thanks.

can you please look at it and tell me if u find something new regarding the activation of mute. i see this hex
GPIO= 0x40000004 and when i converted to decimal it looks like a number that can be used in mute activation.
i just need a bit help on how to do this. thanks.

SHUT DOWN FIX.

if you don't know how to clear cash. do the following.

1. install this applehda in the bottom.

2. if u don't have OSX86Tool. download it and do some clean up.

check these: Repair permissions,,, Set Extensions Cashe,,, Clear User Application Cashe,,,
Clear System Application Cashe,,, Touch Extensions Folder,,,Update Prebinding.

click Run Selected Tasks.

wait untill it's done . and shut down . it should work it work for me.

Hi Podkovka,

Just one question: Which VenID + DevID did you change to Conexant IDs in AppleHDA binary?
Does it really matter?

Thanks in advance,
mentorek
