Just a quick thing not really driver related.

Here is a calibrated profile for the samsung lcd screen.
Which gets rid of the blue shift which makes everything look ultra bright.

It was calibrated with a Lacie blue eye pro device 350 euros
and gives very good results when viewing / editing photos accurately.

It needs to be copied to System/Library/ColorSync/Profiles
then permissions need to be repaired.

Then use system preferences and displays to choose it.

Wow, that colour profile makes a huge difference! Took me a while to adjust to it as it's a massive change. Prefer it now though. Thanks smile.gif

Thanks Pete glad you like it.

Try watching some video files, this is where it shines.

From deep blacks to bright colours it just seems right.

Thank u Mysticus for all the great job you're doing, now ethernet too wow!!!
now we almost have a real mini macbook,
i'd like to to say that also 2-finger scroll is working in an amazing way with my nc10,
first have a look in here
2 finger scrolling

then instead of the com.apple.driver.ApplePS2Trackpad.plist that came with the ranova files,
you could try to put in the /yourUsername/Library/Preferences mine that i'm posting here.

hope it works for you,i'm enjoying very much thus feature.

I tested it and couldn't find any satisfying settings so I reverted to my old settings.
Either scroll will get in the way of normal mouse operation, or won't be responsive.
Oh and don't do this without a usb mouse, I had to use mine. If the trackpad doesn't
work after install try to boot with -f.

Hopefully Mysticus knows how to get more out of it.

I've also tried ffscroll before and didn't like the results, so went back to the
normal trackpad drivers.... two finger scrolling wasn't accurate enough for me.

Rather just use the arrow keys or pg up / pg dn

thanx for the feedbacks about your experiences guys... smile.gif one of the reasons i dont put beta stuff like that into installers is obvious now...

those experimental stuffs usually cause more trouble than good, and i try to avoid using them to cut down on problems...

but unfortunately to some people, blacks have to be 100% black, and white has to be 100% white... features are more important than the trouble you receive, so no matter what we do here, people will want this and that and this and that... smile.gif

i will make an installer still for that ffscroll for people who wants it, but will not get into any dvd... it will be an optional choice in the nc10 files section...

My old account - Detosx - was also hit. I am curious to hear from other people so we can see if there is a common link. I have a thread concerning Acer laptops is the closest I get. My posts also still seem to be there, just name and post count gone and, obviously, I can't access that accounts' Messages, which is a big gulp. I guess when we help people, get them to give you a solid email address rather than rely on Messaging. I'm frustrated I can't access my old account's messages.

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=156706 I posted an inquiry here, hopefully someone can get back to us on this. So far you are the only other person I have found who this has happened to.

Could somebody put the JAS_to_NC10-10.5.6.ppf up on BT somewhere? I don't have usenet access and can't get the completed i s o anywhere...so I am happy to build one, but would prefer not to pony up $$$ to RapidShare.

Or even email it to my g m a i l account?

Really want to do 10.5.6 on my sammy nc10, but without the ppf, I'm sunk.

Thanks

@Alabamas
I tried installing the touchpad driver, but I wasn´t able to get it working.
My problem is that I can´t do anything with the touchpad after installing. Maybe you could help me.
What I did.
Installed ALPS Glidepad Driver.pkg
Then restarted. 2 times.
After that I put your file in 2 directories,
Then startet ffscroll by terminal
