gog3
From what I understand 3D acceleration won't work because of the shared vram, but is there a way to at least change the resolution? Thank you for any help!

gog3
nope, installing any video kext breaks my install. I'm installing on an Asus Aspire 9300-3716.
Satyr
Have you changed device id in the kexts? btw mine had 128 MB of dedicated memory. Dunno if that could be the problem.. And when you're messing with the kexts, always do backup so if you do something wrong, just get them back from command line at boot.

Scaevola
My problem is that the screen freezes after Apple logo disappears and blue background appears. The system is working fine on safe mode. The steps described does not work for my SL 10.6.3 installation with Geforce Go 7300, my problem is still present. Do you have an alternative solution? Gringo Vermelho
Make sure you're booting Snow Leopard in 32-bit mode, there is no 64-bit support for Geforce 7 series cards since 10.6.3.
