I have video driver working, sound as well, even my infrared port works...

My problems are the Intel PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection wich has no driver yet, but it's being taken care off here http://code.google.com/p/iwidarwin/ (i have internet via ethernet port for now)

Lightscribe Super Multi DVD Writer (+/-R +/-RW) with Double Layer doen't work, wich is rather strange because it works fine in the installation procedure, but when i boot to OSX it just works no more, can't mount it at all.

Any help would be apreciated in the optical drive issue.

you need to use chipset option for jmicron and/or ICH*. one of those will get it working. had same problem on my 6530

I have similar problem with my Asus G1S. The optical drive cant be seen. Any help? Does HP have Jmicron chipset inside or it is something universal and it may work with asus too?

Try this:  IOATAFamily.kext.zip ( 399.59K ) Number of downloads: 97


Install with kexthelper (before delete old IOATAFamily.kext and backup it).
