![]() I've been meaning to make this app for a really long time but I just got around to it. This control center, meant for Gigabyte GA-(E)P35-DS3P/DS3L/DS3R/DS4 boards can install pretty much all the fixes and drivers you are going to use, with one click of a button. And there is individual 1 click uninstallation too, so you can keep what you want and delete the rest. Here is a list of the drivers and fixes it installs: Drivers Audio: ALC889A and ALC888 (patched AppleHDA.kext with HDAEnabler.kext plugin) Ethernet: Realtek RTL8111B (AppleRTL8169Ethernet.kext from RTGMac2.pkg) SATA Controller: Intel ICH9/ICH9R (patched IOATAFamily.kext by DuNE) IDE Controller: JMicron 20360/20363 (JMicronATA.kext) Fixes PS/2 Fix (ApplePS2Controller.kext and AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext plugin by Chun-Nan) Shutdown Fix (Compiled onecore.c by ovof; disassembled version of cobranails PowerOff Fix package) Restart Fix (patched AppleACPIPlatform.kext) 10.5.4 (9.4.0) Vanilla Kernel installation 10.5.4 (9.4.0) modbin Kernel installation SMBIOS Fix (AppleSMBIOSEFI.kext by Chun-Nan) This is meant to be bundled with my new guide package that's coming out soon, but right now I offer it as a standalone download. All the resources are in the app itself so no extra downloads needed, except you need to install CHUD.pkg for the shutdown fix to work. Download this app here (8.3MB compressed, 22.2MB uncompressed) |

Fantastic! Though I just finished spending days figuring all of these out
One question: it doesn't actually look to see if any of these patches have been installed right? The "LEDs" are all red and I assume the program only keeps track of its state as of its first run on a system? Thanks for another great ulitity! |

Ohmygod this is amazing. Thank you SO much!
What is with the 10.5.4 vanilla kernal install? I Have Kalyway - should I be running 10.5.4 before installing it? Or can I install from 10.5.2? Actually, this would be even cooler as a System Preference module rather than an App. - Burp |

That is amazing! One really dumb question. Is it compatible with this board?
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DQ6 LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail Ultra Secure, Smart Backup, 4 GbE LAN, Dolby Theater Located here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813128343 Regardless, Really nice tool. I'm saving it with my collection of osx86 tools for future needs. |

Big Kahuna,
The red light should flash to green when it's installed. What did you try to install? limini, Yeah, it only detects stuff that's been installed by the control center program itself. Burpethead, I forgot to mention that this app is meant for 10.5.4, hence the 10.5.4 kernels rramon, As long as it has the exact same hardware as these DS3/DS4 models it should be fine kdb424, Well...the hardware is very similar but not exact. Can't say whether it will work or not until you try it |

This is pretty cool.
What does the audio fix do for ALC888? Are you getting 5.1 through any of the outputs? |

The ALC888 fix well...it makes ALC888 audio work. ALC888 is used in the DS3L, I'm pretty sure all the other ones use ALC889A. 5.1 is not enabled by default, but it does work with a simple tip. There is a thread on this forum on how to do it.

~pcwiz. I Just went to your site, and I have to say that you are an osx86 god. If I wasn't on a mac right now, I would be dying waiting for that final version of your Osx86 tool to come out for drivers. If there is ANYTHING that I can do, please PM me. I am DEFINITELY going to build a hackintosh soon. It's all thanks to you. This tool is useful on the Apple computers too. Thanks a ton. But seriously, cool tool in this thread too.
