Just installed using Kalyway Leopard on my Acer Aspire 5100 AWLMI
Config: 10.5.2, ATI X200M chipset, AMD Turion x64, ATI SB400, 120GB SATA, 1GB DDR, ENE Card Reader(not working), PCMCIA(not working), ALC883 (no audio in). I managed to get higher resolution using KATANA driver but no Quartz, I've searched for hours but I didn't find a solution. Everything works fine except the Video and WiFi card: Atheros 5007EG WiFi b/g PCI-E integrated in the laptop. Can anyone help, please! 20$ PayPal donation for the person who gives me a valid solution. I can handle the Terminal and vim. Thanks! Included pic of the System Profiler 1) ATI Graphics details 2) Important Extensions Would a D-Link DWL-G132 b/g USB WiFi stick work?

hello!
unless you have a particular dislike for broadcom products, use linux, or don't like ebay, my advice would be to use your $20 to buy one of these: http://search.ebay.ca/search/search.dll?fr...&category0= Or, if you can afford to spend a bit more, get one of these, i find Atheros to be more reliable and linux-compatible: http://cgi.ebay.ca/AR5006EGS-Atheros-2424-...1QQcmdZViewItem Any Mini PCIe card that is AR5006 should work (AR5006EG, EGS, EXS) Finally, you can get a real macbook's MiniPCIe card by searching for AR5BXB6 http://search.ebay.ca/search/search.dll?fr...&category0= If you get one of these cards and it doesn't work, you may have to get a patched IOPCIFamily.kext. You can see my guide for the Aspire 5570Z to find more info and download that. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=96552 |

BTW: Leo4allv3 doesn't work with this configuration. Better stick to Kalyway.
