At a guess I would say this won't support SSE2; V2 didn't and I believe a planned patch was dropped. We shall see. Nice one, though!

JaS what have you done again this time? JaS? Looking at that installer picture, not a lot of options there... (Hmm, just found a different pic; not lacking in options but it's always great to have alternatives) you're still tha man, Mystericus C* and your amazing patcher installers for 10.5.0/10.5.1/10.5.2 and...? Don't go anywhere!Feel the community luv! |

From the iATKOS wiki:
Welcome to iATKOS v4i OSx86 10.5.4 iATKOS v4i 10.5.4 has been released at July 17, 2008. It's the latest Intel Only OSx86 Leopard 10.5.4 DVD release by the OSx86.Turk Team. Users who own machines with supported Intel Hardware can use iATKOS v4i to easily install Mac OS X on their regular PC. Release Information
OSx86 is a project dedicated to run the Mac OS X computer operating system on non-Apple PCs that use x86 architecture processors. OSx86 has been made possible at June 2005, when the Worldwide Developers Conference announced that Apple transferred their personal computers from PowerPC to Intel Processors.. Where can I download iATKOS v4i? Hmm. We don't know. We heard that the Green Demon is able to supply it. What are the requirements? Use the Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) of the osx86project and check whether your hardware is supported. |

Hmm...wasn't really a big fan of iATKOS but if I didn't already set my system completely up, I would download this. I wish I could just backup my entire partition so I can restore it later (if needed).

I wish I could just backup my entire partition so I can restore it later (if needed). That's the same question I asked myself. Here's my finding and results: *Using Acronis True Image, I can backup the OSX86 partition on my HP Dv6500T laptop, and I can restore it later without no problem. *On my C2D E8400 desktop, it's a different story. I am able to create an image backup, BUT when I want to restore the image, the OSX86 partition is grayed out. I am stomped on that one. Maybe I'll give the old Powerquest Drive Image a try and see what results I might get. |

Great, I was waiting for a 5.4 release. Upgrading my Kalyway install to 5.3 had been driving me mad. In the end I saved the User data and configuration and formatted my OS X partition. Time to install again, I believe.
