OpenGL performances have improved a lot for me, both in OpenGL Extensions benchmarks and in ALL OSX games I tried (from shitty Cider ports to CoD 4 native port), NVIDIA drivers have never been so good !

guys you need to wait for nvidia to ship a cd with gt200 drivers..no support in 10.5.7 !

try to sleep and then wake up your computer, people had this problem with dell laptops, the card being underclocked before sleep.

Or install 10.5.6, seems the new drivers in it fix this problem.

these kexts from ACCEL.TAR.BZ are already hex patched, no need to hex edit them.. Just info.plist if it isn't....

dont delete anything, just make sure 94601002 is in info.plist of atiradeonx2000.kext

are you running 10.5.6 ? I think you have a problem elsewhere (even with a working card you wouldnt get QE/CI)

Make sure your product id (9460) is in ATIRadeonX2000.kext info.plist too

did you try the other dvi plug ? try that and if it still doesnt work, edit the plist file i ~/Library/Preferences/com.aspyr.cod4 or smthg and choose windowed 1 to play in windowed maybe it'll help.. But it should work in fullscreen

The problem isn't the launcher, the game itself will only "eat" THIS Prince OF Persia.exe, launcher or not.

the game is using cider 2178 and it only works with THIS game. Seems transgaming is really optimizing their sandbox for individual games sometimes, and like Eve Online, this Cider will only work with this Prince Of Persia: the Mac EXE has been recompiled and is different than the PC version.

if it fatal errors, then the problem isn't the config utiltiy... you'll worry about that if you can get the game to display NO ERROR... the game should just do nothing (cuz of the launcher you cant see) but it shouldnt fatal error !

your OpenGL.framework is broken, just reinstall a working version. How ? It's been stated multiple times in this VERY THREAD, just use the search engine.

the 4850 drivers are buggy.... make sure you run the game in windowed at least or in your native max resolutoin (modify Config.WTF according to this)

je l'ai installée, sans aucun problème ici Perso tout comme la 10.5.6, le kext USB2 vanilla m'empêche de sleep, mais bon, celui de Slice est bien mieux (le wake up à la souris c'est le pied)... Mis à part ça, tout fonctionne aussi bien, donc pas de soucis pour nos bon vieux hack !

@spanakorizo : you still need INJECTION.

For your information, PC use BIOS, not EFI, therefore the EFI rom isn't loaded/used at all on a PC and we still need injection.

So no matter which rom you would try, you'd still need injection on a PC (but obviously not if you put the card on a mac pro.
