Done on 10.4.6 HotIso:

Even if it's an IDE controller, just add 522910b9 to the SATA section of AppleVIAATA.kext.
Reboot with -f parameter to reload kext.
Enjoy smile.gif

If others want to try with others UDMA IDE controller...
