Today, I made some UBs when I was in Photoshop, because I was feeling creative, and bored:

Well, today's my birthday, and I'm turning 19.  I asked for a new monitor for my birthday, so I guess we'll see what kind I get!


Update: No monitor, but I did get 2 fresh sticks of RAM for my MBP, so now it runs on 2GB.

Well I called my other Apple Store whom I thought would be a good one, and they wanted to charge me $95(USD) to even inspect it for heat/whine problems, regardless of warranty, apparently!  Forget that!  I'm going to just call Applecare itself in a bit to see what they can do.

So I read the Apple discussion forums for the MBP a bit, and I hear they're running out of logic boards with which to fix the heat and whine issues.  I need my MBP for school, so now I'm hesitant to call my Apple Store.  What do you think I should do?

But seriously, In a few hours, I'm going to call my other local Apple store to see if they'll fix my MBP.  Stay tuned!
